The task

Background & Challenge

LED Universum offers an extremely extensive range of LED strips, power supplies, profiles and controllers. Its core competence lies in the sale of bespoke, complete LED kits tailored to customer requirements. This posed major challenges for the old web platform:

 

  1. Complexity in kit configuration: Manually combining LED strips, suitable power supplies and the correct controllers proved too much for many end customers.
  2. Performance bottlenecks: The sheer number of technical product features and variants noticeably slowed down the shop’s loading times.
  3. Conversion rate optimisation: To further expand market leadership in online direct sales, a modern, sales-driven UI/UX design was required.
  4. Outdated technology stack: The lack of scalability called for a modern system with a clean interface architecture.

We have rebuilt the new online shop using Shopware 6 as a high-performance and user-friendly e-commerce channel.
